Yianni (John) and George, the owners and founders of Yianni Fine Food were born in Greece, migrated to Australia in the 1960’s and have been in the food industry for over 40 years.
They opened a small takeaway shop together in the 1960’s and operated several cafes throughout the 70’s and 80’s.
They have been running their large scale food manufacturing business, Yianni Fine Food, since the 1990’s and have continued to grow, with additional members of the family, to where they are now.
Although their business has grown in scale over the years, they have remained humble and true to their beginnings and have never forgotten their experiences as small café and takeaway business owners themselves. It is these humble beginnings that allow Yianni and George to understand what retailers value. They understand that consistently high quality products at reasonable prices are important and also understand how valuable it is to keep your customers happy and coming back for more.
Over the years Yianni Fine Food has been consistently expanding the range of products, resulting in the development of a solid reputation amongst most of the major cafés and food retailers in NSW for our range of quality food.
Due to our heritage, part of our savoury range includes Mediterranean savoury dishes made to traditional and family recipes. In addition, our customers enjoy choosing from a wide range of other delicious savoury dishes such as frittatas, quiches, lasagnes and individual savouries and pastries. We are also very proud of our range of sweets such as Greek baklava, Greek biscuits, Greek pastries, classic slices, decadent cakes, moist muffins, delicious fruit breads, continental biscuits and yummy strudels.
We understand food outlet proprietors face many challenges these days, including competition, increasing costs in raw materials, high rents and large staff wages. In addition, sourcing reliable and competent team members is a challenge. We are passionate about creating delicious and quality products made to the highest of standards and we focus on providing consistency every time or your money back!
